NURTURING MOTHERS MENTOR

First and foremost, a Nurturing Mothers Mentor (NMM) is an experienced mother who respects the autonomy and wisdom of mothers who have been doing this for millenia.

They have a thorough understanding of the systemic barriers to breastfeeding in Australia and support a mother navigating these barriers.

Mentors are trained volunteers who have resources and strategies to work with mothers experiencing breastfeeding difficulties.
